1. Follow steps 1-7 from the “Basic Information” section of the Create Basic Opportunity above.
2. If this opportunity will take place at multiple locations, click Add Location under “Location(s).” Enter a unique title and address for the location, then click Save.
3. To delete a location, click Delete in the droptown menu
4. Click Save & Next.
5. Follow the “Requirements” section of the Create Basic Opportunity above.
6. In the “Schedule for” dropdown, select the location to which this schedule applies.
7. Select one of the following as a basis of your scheduling
a. One time: one day event
b. Weekly: On a weekly basis
c. Monthly: On a monthly basis
d. Ongoing: Multiple day event or ongoing opportunity
e. Other: Untraditional schedules occurring on random dates
8. Set a date(s) or date range.
9. If applicable, select the days of the week and/or days of the month when this schedule will occur.
10. Under “Date Exceptions,” enter any dates or date ranges during which this schedule does not apply, then click the add icon.
11. To complete this schedule, click Save.
12. The “Add/Edit Shift” window will open allowing you to set a Shift (i.e., start and end time) for this schedule.
a. Enter a Shift Name
b. If applicable, select the Shift Day(s) to which this schedule applies.
c. Set the Start and End Times. If volunteers can attend the opportunity based on their own availability, leave Start and End Times blank and activate the Flexible Time slider
d. If applicable, select the positions to which this shift applies and set the maximum capacity for each position, if desired.
e. If you are done, click Save. If you would like to set an additional shift for this schedule, click Save and Add New and repeat the above process.
13. To edit a schedule, click Edit next to the desired schedule. Use the tools on the left of the screen to make desired edits, then click Save. To delete a schedule, click Delete in its dropdown menu, then click OK
14. To edit a shift, click View Shift under the desired schedule. Click Edit, make desired changes. Then click Save. To delete a shift, click Delete in its dropdown menu, then click OK
15. When done setting schedules, click Save, then click Next.
16. In the date field, set the date on which you wish to publish this opportunity.
17. Under “Publish/Unpublish to Action Center,” check the box next to San Francisco State University.
18. Click Publish/Unpublish to Action Center at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
